The Autism Program of Illinois (TAP) is the largest statewide network of services in the nation for individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.  Thirty community agency and universities make up the TAP Service Network, which provides diagnosis, treatment, support groups, and resources impacting more than 16,000 families a year.

As developed by Julie Alderman, M.A., L.C.P.C. and Camille Randall, Ph.D., our 65 page training guide provides educators and professionals in the field of Autism and related disabilities an introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs). Utilizing clips from the movie, this training discusses some of the strengths and struggles of an individual on the Autism spectrum.

*Please note that those using this training must have access to a copy of the HBO movie “Temple Grandin”.

**The film must be purchased or rented on an individual basis and is not included with this training manual or provided by The Hope Institute for Children and Families or The Autism Program of Illinois.
