Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago (ESMC) has more than 70 years experience in delivering high quality and culturally sensitive services and programs to individuals with special needs and their families in Chicago and surrounding south, north and west suburbs as well as Northwest Illinois. Easter Seals serves more than 14,000 annually in their programs. They currently operate four therapeutic day schools for children with autism. ESMC is the “premiere vendor of choice” for educational and therapeutic programs and services for children with autism for the Chicago Public Schools as well as over 55 suburban school districts. ESMC is in the process of building a state of the art Therapeutic School and Center for Autism Research Campus in the Illinois Medical District of Chicago. The Therapeutic School and Center for Autism will be opening in Chicago in September 2008.
